Scott Allen (General Manager / Member)

Scott, one of the owners, founders and the General Manager of Trailboss Solutions, LLC, has over 22 years of experience in the residential/commercial construction industry. His extensive construction background in Alaska & Washington State includes insurance restoration, historical restoration, renovations and remodels, additions, custom home construction, ICF home construction, medical and commercial renovation.

Among his significant previous positions, Scott was the President & CEO of KIC Associates. There he was directly responsible for overall company management and under his guidance completed numerous construction projects throughout the State of Alaska. In the years prior to moving to Alaska, Scott headed up the Seattle offices of The Reijnen Company, specializing in high end custom home construction, additions, remodels and large fire & storm damage restorations and repairs.

Scott is a well-respected professional in the industry and is greatly valued by his clients and staff for his professionalism, attention to detail and his dedication to quality and service that is demonstrated in his overall management of Trailboss Solution's projects from inception through completion. Jana Seda (Interior / Kitchen & Bath Designer)

Jana has been in the Interior Design industry since 2002.  She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, prior to complete her degree in Interior Design.  Specializing in Kitchen and Bath design, Jana brings a range of practicality and function to her designs.  With over ten years of design experience, she is able to work through challenges with her clients, steering them in a direction that will ultimately leave them not only with a space that is beautiful, fun, timeless and pleasing, but an experience that will leave them satisfied.  Jana’s designs have been published multiple times in Alaska Home Magazine and Alaska’s Best Kitchen Magazine.  She has been a Golden Hammer Winner for the Alaska Home Builders Associations Parade of Homes as well as the Grand Prize Winner of the Alaska’s Best Kitchen publication.  She is an active member of the Alaska Chapter of the National Kitchen and Bath Association and currently sits on the Executive Board.

Carter Cole (Project Manager)

Carter has been in the construction industry for over 30 years, he has project management experience on industrial, commercial, and residential construction projects. He has managed both large horizontal andvertical construction. He has also severed as a Director of Public Works with an emphasis on government contracts. He has been a mechanical systems designer, construction manager, project manager, and a general contractor. He has performed construction in various extreme conditions and climates as well as Government and private sector contracts. He currently holds a State of Alaska Mechanical Administrator License, and Professional CSI Construction Document Technician License.

Chris Hawkins (Project Manager)

Chris has been in the construction industry for over 20 years, he has extensive experience in commercial and residential construction project. Chris has been involved with construction projects nationwide with over 1 billion dollars in project cost. Chris has also served as a consultant on many larger projects in the Alaska area. He is an effective communicator at all levels, and has the ability to multi task and make changes as needed. Chris has a long history of controlling cost and delivering projects on time.

William Hester (Project Superintendent)

William’s construction career started at any early age while working with his grandfather who was a general contractor in the residential and commercial trades in Anchorage Alaska 42 years ago. This is where his desire to design and build things came to be. Military training allowed his skills to be broadened in the Nuclear, Non-Nuclear fields by learning to design, inspect, construct and manufacture complex components and structures. William’s education and experience was again expanded when he became a draftsman for a custom cabinet company in Norfolk Virginia upon his honorable discharge from the service. He moved to the west coast and found himself designing and manufacturing custom cabinets and furniture for both residential and commercial applications. 12 years in the custom cabinetry, furniture, management, bidding, design, construction and installation led to building of custom homes in Washington State. Several homes were constructed for the Street of Dreams taking many first places honors for cabinet design and installation as well as earning several overall first place honors for best in show and design of construction. Upon returning to Alaska he continued designing and construction of custom homes from the ground up and remodeling homes. In over 35 years of building custom cabinets, furniture and custom homes he has had the opportunity to learn all phases of construction, everything from design, site layout, and excavation to the all phases of interior finishes including tile, carpet, trim, hardwood flooring counter tops and cabinet construction and installations. He has a journeyman level background in electrical and plumbing applications that allows him to remodel commercial or residential projects with the knowledge that the work is being accomplished to meet the latest standards and applicable code requirements. He takes extreme pride in his work and he enjoys the challenge of designing, building or remodeling a home that will give pleasure to the client for a lifetime.

Matthew Hill (Controller)

Matthew has been with Trailboss Solutions since 2010 and has an extensive background in finance and accounting. Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwestern College in 2001 and has utilized that degree in many different industries. Matthew began his career with Continental Development Corporation in Anchorage, AK managing their accounting department and assisting with project bidding and obtaining permits. From there Matthew has spent time with an advertising firm, restaurant company and two manufacturing firms. Matthew has always had an interest in construction and real estate, dating back to being a laborer for a small remodeling firm in Nebraska to help pay for his education. Matthew currently holds a General Contractor/Residential Endorsement license in the State of Alaska.
